I liked that this is Australian salt, and the taste was perfectly fine. To be fair, the product itself does the job. The only things that let it down a bit were the slower delivery and the bag seal, which didn’t feel as secure as I’d hoped. Not a bad buy overall, but I did expect it to be a little better

My first reaction was, “Whoa, this looks a little rough.” The site feels a bit dated, and the layout had me bouncing around trying to figure out where things were. I did manage to find the basic info, but it wasn’t as clear or easy to read as I expected. The photos and pages could definitely use a cleanup. It’s not awful, but it doesn’t feel very polished.

I picked up some Murray River salt for my sister, mostly just assuming it’d be her kind of thing since she’s always cooking. Turns out I was right — she seemed pleased with it and said it looked nice sitting in her kitchen. Delivery wasn’t amazingly quick, but it wasn’t a problem either. I’d probably buy it again if I needed a simple foodie-style gift...

I placed my order thinking it would arrive within a normal shipping timeframe, but it took way too long. The lack of updates made the whole process even more frustrating, because I had no real idea what was going on. Overall, not a great experience, and I probably wouldn’t order from them again

They’ve got a decent range of stuff, which is handy when you’re trying to find what you need without shopping around too much. Some things are a bit pricey, but the selection makes it convenient.

The box showed up crushed, and everything inside was just loose and rattling around. i was NOT happy with the packaging at all.

Umm, they did help me in the end, but it took longer than I was expecting. Not a bad experience, just wish the response time had been a bit quicker.

It showed as available when I ordered, but then I found out it was out of stock. Uh, frustrating since I expected it to actually be there.

I bought this hoping it would be a really clean, high-quality salt, but I felt like the purity info was kind of vague. I looked around for more details or any testing results, and I couldn’t really find enough to feel totally reassured. The taste was fine, no complaints there, but would I feel great using it every day without clearer info?? Not really. I just wish they were more upfront about the ingredients and testing.

I was expecting the salt to have a bit more flavour, but it tasted plain to me. It wasn’t awful or anything, just not really worth it in my opinion?? Maybe other people will enjoy it more, but I wasn’t that impressed.

I tried using it for a bit, but the menus just kept throwing me off. You click around expecting things to be obvious, and then you end up more confused than when you started. I gave up quickly

I like this salt overall, it has a really nice texture and tastes good, but the flakes are a little bigger than I thought they’d be. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed when I started using it. I guess I was expecting something a bit more delicate, but it still works fine.

Mine arrived in good shape and tasted fresh and clean. Based on this bag, I’d say it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for salt that doesn’t have any weird off taste. Happy with it overall

I ordered from murrayriversalt.com.au, and to be fair, the product itself may have been fine, but the shipping experience really let it down for me. The tracking sat there without moving for ages, so I had no real idea when the order was actually going to show up.

I did try to follow up, but it felt like I was doing more chasing than they were doing sorting. I get that delays happen sometimes, but it would have been fair to at least have clearer updates, especially since the delay affected what I needed it for.
Maybe other people have had a smoother experience, and I’m not saying everyone will have the same issue. But based on my order, I wouldn’t buy again if I needed something to arrive by a specific date.

My order came through mostly the way I expected. Nothing really stood out as wrong, so I’d say it was handled well overall.

I’m really happy with my order. The salt is great, and I like that the company seems to actually care about the river and doing things in a more sustainable way. The packaging was simple too, not stuffed with a bunch of extra plastic, which I apreciate.
